Build Your Total Richness System: Health + Wealth Working Together
In the first post, we talked about what Total Richness means — not just money, but also health, time, freedom, and peace of mind. That idea is important, but ideas alone don’t change your life. Systems do. If there’s one thing we've learned, it’s this: Rich lives are not built on motivation. They’re built on systems.
Motivation comes and goes. Some days you feel productive, some days you don’t. Some weeks you’re focused, other weeks life gets busy. If your life only moves forward when you feel motivated, progress will always be slow and inconsistent. But systems keep working even when you’re tired, busy, distracted, or unmotivated.
So if we’re serious about building Total Richness, we need two systems running at the same time: A Health System and a Wealth System. When both systems are running, life starts moving forward automatically. Before we talk about the systems, let’s remind ourselves what we’re actually trying to build.
Total Richness is building a life where your wealth, your health, your time, your freedom, and your peace of mind are all growing together.
Not just your income.
Not just your business.
Not just your bank account.
Your life.
The goal is not to be rich and exhausted.
The goal is not to be rich and unhealthy.
The goal is not to be rich and have no time.
The goal is to build a life that is financially strong, physically strong, mentally calm, and flexible enough to actually enjoy.
That’s why we need systems.
Part 1: Your Health System
Most people treat health like a random activity instead of a system. They work out for a week, stop for two weeks, eat healthy for a few days, then get busy and fall off again.
A system is different. A system is something that runs in the background of your life. Your health system does not need to be extreme. It just needs to be consistent. Think of your health system as having five parts.
Step 1: Sleep
This is the most underrated health habit. Sleep affects your mood, your weight, your focus, your energy, and even your financial decisions. When you’re exhausted, you make worse decisions, you eat worse, you work slower, and everything feels harder. If you fix your sleep, a lot of other things start fixing themselves.
Step 2: Movement
You don’t have to live in the gym. Just move consistently. Walk, stretch, lift weights, do yoga, play sports, ride a bike, do VR workouts, anything. The goal is not to be a professional athlete. The goal is to have energy and a body that lets you enjoy life. Energy is wealth.
Step 3: Food
You don’t need a crazy diet. Just build simple rules:
Eat more real food.
Eat less processed food.
Drink more water.
Don’t eat like every meal is a celebration.
Small improvements over time make a huge difference.
Step 4: Mental Health
This is where journaling, quiet time, prayer, meditation, thinking, planning, and reflection come in. If your mind is always stressed and overwhelmed, it doesn’t matter how much money you make — life will still feel chaotic. Peace of mind is part of Total Richness.
Step 5: Energy Management
Pay attention to what gives you energy and what drains you. Some people, environments, and activities make you tired. Others make you excited and motivated. Build a life with more energy-giving activities and fewer energy-draining ones.
That’s your health system. It’s not complicated, but if you run that system for years, your entire life changes.
Part 2: Your Wealth System
Now let’s talk about the wealth side, because money does matter. Money creates options, reduces stress, and gives you freedom. But wealth is also built with a system, not random effort. Your wealth system should have five parts too.
Step 1: Earn More
Most people focus only on saving money, but there is a limit to how much you can save. There is no real limit to how much you can earn. Learning skills, starting businesses, selling products, freelancing, consulting, digital products, investing in yourself — increasing your income is one of the fastest ways to change your financial life.
Step 2: Spend Smart
This doesn’t mean never spending money. It means spending on things that improve your life and avoiding spending that doesn’t matter. A lot of wealth comes from simply not wasting money on things you don’t actually care about.
Step 3: Save Automatically
Saving should not be something you decide to do each month. It should happen automatically. If saving requires willpower every month, it probably won’t happen consistently.
Step 4: Invest
Saving money is good, but investing is what actually builds wealth. Investing allows your money to grow while you sleep. Over time, this is one of the biggest differences between people who stay comfortable and people who become wealthy.
Step 5: Build Assets
This is a big one. Assets are things that make you money without you working every hour for it. Examples are digital products, rental property, businesses, dividends, royalties, online stores, content libraries, or anything that can produce income repeatedly.
Employees work for money.
Assets make money for you.
Your goal should always be to slowly build assets.
Maximum Health + Maximum Wealth = Total Richness
If you really think about it, the best life strategy is not choosing between health and wealth. It’s building both at the same time. Work on your income, but also work on your body. Build your business, but also build your energy. Grow your bank account, but also grow your peace of mind. Plan your finances, but also plan your life. Because at the end of the day, the goal is not just to be rich. The goal is Total Richness.
A life where:
Your money is growing
Your health is good
You control your time
You have freedom to make choices
You have peace of mind about your future
That’s the system we are building. And the best part is, you don’t have to build it all at once. You just have to start building the systems and let time do the heavy lifting.
Small systems + Consistency + Time = Total Richness.
